Our Code defines our standards of ethical and legal business conduct and provides practical advice about laws and regulations, expectations and guidance. We also provide directions to further information sources to help you use your own good judgement. We expect our employees to adhere and act consistently to the ethical principles in our Code. 

Our Business Principles are based on the core values and cover the areas of economic interests, competition, business integrity, political activities, health, safety, security, and the environment (“HSSE”), local communities, communication and engagement, and compliance. 

Employees and external parties involved are encouraged to report instances of suspected violations of law or our policies through the established Whistleblower mechanism, where reports are meticulously investigated by the Whistleblower Committee. To encourage reporting of violations, we will not allow retaliation for reports made in good faith. In addition, every reasonable effort will be made to ensure the confidentiality of those furnishing information​.

Our commitment and policy on Health, Security, Safety, the Environment (“HSSE”) and Social Performance (“SP”) is ​ designed to help protect people and the environment. All Aster companies, contractors and joint ventures under our ​ operational control must manage HSSE and SP in line with the Aster Commitment and Policy.​
